This directory is found in the unpacked content files, Bootup.pack, TitleBG.pack, bactorpacks, beventpacks, and dungeon packs. Its canonical path is "Actor".

If the DLC is installed, this directory can be found in dungeon packs in the add-on content directory. Its canonical path is "Actor".

The Actor directory contains files defining the actor objects that populate the game world (e.g. enemies, buildings, NPCs). It also includes configuration files for the actor and AI system.

Files

ActorInfo.product.byml

This resource is found in the unpacked content files. Its canonical path is "Actor/ActorInfo.product.byml".

ActorInfo contains general information about all actors in the game. It is queried when constructing actors and to access actor data efficiently without having to load actors.

ActorInfo is a machine generated file. It is not meant to be edited directly; much of the information it includes are either automatically generated or copied from ActorParam files (which can be found in the game content) and other source-only files.

ActorTemplate.byml

This directory is found in Bootup.pack/Actor. Its canonical path is "Actor/ActorTemplate.byml".

ActorTemplate configures the game's actor profiles.

ASSetting.bassetting

ResidentActors.byml

ResidentActors is a BYML file that contains a list of resident actors, i.e. actors that are always loaded in memory.

AS

This directory is found in bactorpacks, beventpacks, and TitleBG.pack/Actor/AS. Its canonical path is "Actor/AS/".

Contains a collection of bas files, each of which represents an animation that can be called by an actor or cutscene.

Pack

This directory is found in dungeon packs, Bootup.pack and TitleBG.pack. Its canonical path is "Actor/Pack".

If the DLC is installed, this directory can be found in dungeon packs in the add-on content directory. Its canonical path is "Actor/Pack".

Contains a collection of bactorpack archives, each of which contains the data for one actor.

AIDef

This directory is found in Bootup.pack/Actor. Its canonical path is "Actor/AIDef/".

Contains AIDef_Game.product.byml.

Effect

This directory is found in Bootup.pack/Actor. Its canonical path is "Actor/Effect/".

Contains EffectInfo.byml.

Sound

This directory is found in Bootup.pack/Actor. Its canonical path is "Actor/Sound/".

Contains SoundInfo.byml.

XLink

This directory is found in Bootup.pack/Actor. Its canonical path is "Actor/XLink/".

Contains XLinkInfo.byml.
