This can be useful when testing mods: in order to avoid having to repeatedly unpack and repack archives, the file in the archive can be removed or renamed, forcing the game to look here instead.

The Actor folder contains data on the game's Actor assets. Other versions of this folder can be found at:

ActorInfo.product.sbyml

A BYML file that contains some information about every actor in the game, allowing it to be read without loading the .sbactorpack. The values for weapon and armor stats that are displayed on the inventory screen are defined here. All actors in the game must have an entry in this file in order to be loaded properly.
